Kim Kardashian and her beau Kanye West are looking to marry before the new year, as reports claim the rapper is trying his best to make her "happier".

A wedding seems like the natural step for the power-couple who welcomed their baby daughter, North West, in June.

It's been a long-time coming following reports of tensions in their relationship over how their daughter is raised, but they are keen to tie the knot after putting their relationship back on track, insiders claim.

"They haven't decided on a venue, but they want to marry by the end of the year, they both admitted they'd become so entrenched in winning the fight they'd lost sight of what was important," an insider has alleged to Closer magazine.

One Direction’s Zayn Malik Is Engaged to Perrie Edwards

One Direction’s Zayn Malik is engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, the bride-to-be’s brother confirmed via Twitter.

“Right. My sister and Zayn ARE Engaged! It’s true!” Jonnie Edwards tweeted. “You seen the ring on the finger and all that Jazz! CONGRATS!!!”

Malik and Edwards, 20, hit the red carpet Tuesday night for the London premiere of the boy band’s documentary, “One Direction: This Is Us,” with Edwards flaunting the new engagement ring on her left hand.

Malik proposed last weekend after two years of dating, according to British newspaper The Mirror.

“It’s one of the first weekends they’ve spent with each other, as they’ve both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment,” a source told the newspaper. “All her bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn’t wait to tell them. They’re all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn.”

The actress who has appeared to be on good terms with Ian who is also her co- star on The Vampire Diaries, since their split, told Us Weekly recently that she's in no rush to bag herself another boyfriend.

She is quoted as saying: "I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long- term relationships my whole life until this point, so I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again."

Katie Couric has apologised for hurting Kim Kardashian's feelings after questioning her family's massive fame in a recent interview.

The 56-year-old journalist released a statement following the reality star's furious Instagram post accusing Katie of being a 'fake media friend.'

'I've met Kim before and I think she's a really sweet person,' the TV presenter told E! News.

'I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family. I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye.'

The 32-year-old new mother had posted a picture of baby clothes and a note sent by Katie and asked her not to 'talk s**t' if she's going to pretend to be nice.

Kim also included the hashtags: 'I Hate Fake Media Friends' and 'May I Humbly Suggest You Not Send Gifts Then Talk Sh*t.'

The offending comments were made by the former Today Show anchor in an In Touch article published Wednesday.

Jared Leto: People are so intriguing

The 30 Second to Mars singer, Jared Leto, filmed a live show promo for the band’s single Do Or Die during their tour this summer. He interviewed numerous fans for the piece and was moved by everyone he spoke to. Jared wanted to connect with people in an unprecedented way and he believes viewers will also be inspired by the anecdotes people shared.

"So much has changed about us, about our audience, about our shows, so I wanted that to be a part of it, also. Most of the interviews, I did myself, so they're really intimate. It's me, it's them, and it's the camera," Jared told MTV News.

"What I've found is, that if you talk to everybody long enough, you find an incredible story. Every single person has a moment in their life, something that they've found a solution for, a story to tell. Some are funny, some are really intriguing, and if you ask the right questions, you get interesting answers."

Jared was so committed to the project that he actually ditched his own holiday plans. He simply found this work to be way more interesting than relaxing.

"It was going to be the first-ever planned summer vacation of my entire adult life. I blacked out the time and said I was going to do it, and then, lo and behold, it went from an overzealous three weeks, to two weeks, then a week, then five days, then nothing," Jared laughed. "But, in exchange, I have this beautiful little film. I got these experiences with these people I'll never forget, so it's a fine trade-off for me."
